On May 18, 2022 we hosted the Channel Islands District Luncheon here in Ojai at the Soule Park Restaurant Banquet Room. There were guests from the Organic Gardening Club of Ventura County, Ventura County Garden Club, Westlake Village, Conejo Valley, and Pleasant Valley. Darcy Lober from the District spoke with us and gave out a bunch of beautiful native plants sure to attract pollinators to our gardens!
Each Club brought offerings to be added to a raffle table, the proceeds of which go to the District for various projects.
Our Club members assembled beautiful table decorations of handmade birdhouses depicting various Ojai landmarks and favors including handmade pots w/tiny succulents, Beato Chocolates, and locally grown organic Pixie Tangerines.
