Due to the COVID 19, we are practicing social distancing, the use of a mask, and meeting outside or online as much as possible. Please bring your own chair and water bottle to events.
Our 2020-21 year starts off on October 14, 2020 with an introduction to the benefits of compost, at the Ojai Community Demonstration Garden. Dr. David White with the Ojai Canter for Regenerative Agriculture will meet us starting at 10:00am to demonstrate the benefits of compost in building healthy soil, which will help bring the garden back to life. The Community Demo Garden is located behind Ojai City Hall, located at 401 South Ventura Street. A link is provided here to the location of garden.
We meet on the 2nd Wednesday of the month, from October thru May. We meet to educate and promote a greater awareness of all things garden related in the Ojai Valley. We invite guest speakers, arrange garden tours of local sites, decorate the post office with flowers and provide grant funds for garden projects from the sale of holiday wreaths.
Our dues are $35/year. If you would like to speak at an upcoming event, contact Renee Roth at ReneeRoth@me.com. If you would like to join, see our membership page.
